It is true, our great nation has been captivated by the evils of this deadly virus spreading faster than the speed of light known as COVID-19.

All businesses from restaurants to movie theaters to nightclubs have been shut down, beaches, parks, public buildings the whole entire world is at a stand-still.

This is something in history mankind has not experienced since the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918. The whole entire world is at standpoint. Streets are empty, businesses are shut down, the Stock Markets have plummeted which may force us at this projection into another economic depression such as the one our forefathers faced 90 years ago.

You, as a healthy normal person who is so use to living a life going outside, being around people to bring you up and make you happy, suddenly wakes up everyday just to see that this pandemic is taken more and more lives at such an alarming rate and destroying our economy .

This can have more serious effects beyond the realm of health. This is an entire disaster economically, mentally, spiritually and physically to all humans.

My home state of New York, where I was born and raised is now accountable for 5 % of all cases in the world. It is history in the making but for the wrong reasons.

In 20-30 years this will be in every classroom textbook and we the ones from this era who survive will talk about how hard this ultimately was to survive and how we overcame these hard times.

Not only has the economy suffered but something that most of us enjoy to take the pressures and stresses away from like commonly known as sports has been entirely cancelled, suspended, or postponed.

Finally, I would personally like to think there is a silver lining at the end of this tunnel but these times have been trying and as much as I would like to be optimistic that there is a better future ahead of us which there is, life is hard but that is just the process of life.

May this blow over and we all persevere through these trying times.
