Manchester United have faced a rough start to the 19/20 season, including transfer problems, player problems, manager problems, and wining problems – as they started the season with a record of 9 wins, 8 draws, and 8 losses, sitting in 8th place in the Premier League table.

Who is to blame for these massive problems in a club with history as rich as Manchester United?

In the summer of 2019, United signed Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bassaka, and Harry Maguire. Recently with the transfer window back open, United reached back out to Sporting Lisbon CP, and signed Bruno Fernandes, after failing in the summer of 2019 the first time. This was a great move on behalf of manager Ole Gunner Solsjkaer, but the fall of this move in 2019 is 100% to be blamed on the poor investment skills of Ed Woodward.

Ed Woodward has made some great investments over the years, but those have been outmatched for the horrible decisions, and the great player options he has missed out on.

After his house was flared by a group of fans, as well as pressure from Ole Gunner Solskjaer and the fans; finally Portugal star Bruno was signed to Manchester United for 50 million euros; and personally, when I heard this news, I said “Thank God”.

Fernandes started for United against Wolves on February 1st and played amazing, he really showed his skill and controlled the center of the field for United; even without the support of fellow midfielders Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay by his side. Even though the game ended in a draw 0-0, it was an overall great debut for Bruno.

Manchester United may have it’s issues, but I see this as a new start for United. Liverpool took 4 years to rebuild its squad into a Champions League winning team, and according to Solskjaer that what’s next for Manchester United

So what’s the next for United?

Well, the calling up of 18 year old Mason Greenwood showed to be a great academy pull up for United as he is a young superstar dedicated to United, and dedicated to scoring goals. United also signed Odion Ighalo, the striker from Nigeria who has always loved United is ready to come and score as many goals as he can for United; and the guy even took pay cut just to be able to play for United! Man-U is also expecting a return from star midfielders Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay soon, hopefully sometime this February or March.

I see Manchester United making its comeback soon, and personally I’m excited to see a team like the 07/08 United team, and see Ole Gunner Solskjaer go full Sir Alex Ferguson.
