Start ‘Em:

WR Mike Williams (LAC)

Williams has been hit or miss all year. However, he has a golden breakout opportunity this week. Williams will face the Jets, who have an abysmal secondary, which just cut Pierre Desir this week. Williams is a big, physical receiver who should be able to feast along with Keenan Allen on Sunday.

RB Antonio Gibson (WSH)

Gibson has been on a tear this season, and looks to keep it going this week. Cincinnati is allowing 133 rush yds/game and hasn’t been finding much overall success on defense this season. Gibson will be a key factor in the Washington offense, especially with his great matchup against the Bengals.

QB Taysom Hill (NO)

Hill takes over for the injured Drew Brees, and is a little more of a questionable start than the two players mentioned above. We aren’t really sure how he’s going to be used, or if he and Jameis Winston will split snaps. He faces a cupcake Falcons defense, which he shouldn’t have any problems with. If you’re in an ESPN league make sure to take advantage of his TE ability.

Sit ‘Em:

WR Chris Godwin (TB)

Godwin has been relatively quiet so far this year and likely will struggle again this week. He’ll face a top-3 passing defense vs the Rams, who will try to shut him down. With Aaron Donald on the line, Tampa will struggle to set up deep passes.

RB Todd Gurley (ATL)

Gurley will take on the 2nd best run defense in the league, giving him a brutal matchup for Sunday. New Orleans has been especially dominant in the run game recently, allowing just 51 rushing YPG over their past 3. Gurley will face a tough task in Nola this week.

RB Aaron Jones (GB)

Jones has struggled to regain his dominance from early in the season, and facing Indianapolis he’ll likely struggle again. Indy locks everything down defensively, run or pass game. Both a top-5 rushing and passing defense will prevent Green Bay from setting up the run through the passing game. Aaron Jones will have to find the endzone to even make him a borderline flex-start.
