Why Lamar Jackson Should Be the Next $500 Million QB

Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe bar has been set for a Lamar Jackson contract as Patrick Mahomes recently signed a 10 year extension worth up to $503 million from the Kansas City Chiefs. Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes get compared at every turn. Even Jackson has noticed, and while he doesn’t like the comparisons, it’s hard not to compare the two. They’re both former first round picks, second year MVPs, and Madden cover athletes. Both Patrick and Lamar are top quarterbacks in the league and are just hitting their primes. Lamar Jackson posses the talent and has the resume...

Why the Pittsburgh Steelers Will Have A Top 10 Offense Next Season

Reading Time: 2 minutes The Pittsburgh Steelers finished their 2019-2020 campaign with an 8-8 record, barely missing the playoffs in the AFC. Although they boasted one of the top defenses in the entire league, they finished 27th in total scoring on the offensive side. One big reason for this could be the fact that they played with three different quarterbacks, and had injuries to key players like James Connor and Juju Smith-Schuster, as both missed a considerable amount of  time. Here is why the Steelers offense will prove itself as one of the best units this season. As mentioned before,...

Why Jamal Adams is the Missing Piece for the Seahawks

Reading Time: 2 minutes Just a few hours ago a monster trade went down between the New York Jets and Seattle Seahawks with the Jets sending Jamal Adams and a fourth-rounder to the Seahawks in exchange for 2 first-round picks and a 2021 3rd.The Seahawks have one of the best quarterbacks in the game with Russell Wilson and the lack of a great supporting cast around him has really been the only issue. The offense has been dominant for the most part with the great weapons and punishing running game that Seattle has. The defense, however, has been holding...

Jamal Adams Blockbuster: Analysis from Both Sides

Reading Time: 2 minutesWell, Jamal Adams had his wish come true. The All-Pro safety, formerly a member of the New York Jets, has a new team. He has been traded to the Seattle Seahawks for Bradley McDougald, a first-round pick in 2021, a third-round pick in 2021, and another first-round pick in 2022. The Seahawks also receive a fourth-round pick. Here are my thoughts on the trade for both sides. From Seattle’s perspective, they get an absolute game-changer on defense. Jamal Adams is the best safety in the league, and fills a need for Seattle in the secondary. Seattle’s secondary was roasted by Davante Adams in the playoffs last year, and even though Adams is not a cover corner, he will make QBs think twice about throwing it on his side of the field. Also, considering the Seahawks first-round picks would probably be late first anyway, they gave it up for one of the best defenders in football. This almost certainly cements their case as Super Bowl contenders. The Jets also did an amazing job with this trade. First of all, they traded Adams out of their conference which was an incredibly smart move. Secondly, they got a HAUL for him. Two first-rounders, plus a third-rounder? They are set up nicely for the future to trade for a star, or stand pat and build for the future. Furthermore, they...

Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Value Picks

Reading Time: 2 minutesWideouts are undoubtedly the deepest position in fantasy football, and with a very deep position comes some terrific values. They are also very inconsistent, so getting the best ones at the right time could win you your league. I’ll be looking at four guys who are great values, so let’s see who they are. Calvin Ridley – ATL Ridley is the 2020 version of Chris Godwin and not enough people are realizing it. He is a talented WR with superb route-running skills in a great offense that just lost the people that competed with him for...
