Taking a look into RB Leipzigs squad it is really hard to see this squad begin to slow down in the league. Leipzig are blessed with one of the league’s best forwards, Timo Werner. The German international has had the most goal involvements than any other player in the league scoring 20 and assisting 6.

Other players who have nodded onto to double figure goal involvements include midfielders Marcel Sabitzer (Gls: 7, Ast: 5) and Christopher Nkunku (Gls: 3 Ast: 7). Other prolific goal scorers include Yussuf Poulsen (Gls:3 Ast:4) , summer signing Patrik Schick (Gls: 4 Ast:1) and Emile Forsberg (Gls:4 Ast: 2).

RB Leipzig’s veteran keeper, Peter Gulacsi, has been doing bits this season despite only keeping 4 clean sheets. The Hungarian shot-stopper has a save percentage of 70% with 62 saves so far in the 19/20 campaign. Strong defensive line-ups consisting of  Lukas Klosterman, Marcel Hastenberg, Dayot Upamencano, Nordi Mukiele  and Ibrahima Konate have seen RB Leipzig only concede 1.12 goals per 90; not the best record, but certainly good one. Strong defense full of competition has helped RB Leipzig see out close games when needed to.

Lastly, success comes from the manager. RB Leipzig have arguably the best manager In Germany at the moment, Julian Nagelsmann. Nagelsmann is presented with a large team full of great talent along all fronts of the pitch, and he consistently makes the right choices to win games. Nagelsmann also has an impressive record of 105 matches won of a total of 134 matches in the Bundesliga.

Can RB Leipzig see out this season and be crowned Champions, or will they fall short and lose it to one of the teams not so far behind?
