1. Lamelo Ball
Lamelo Ball is a 6’6 PG that can do it all. He’s proficient at shooting off the catch and would address the Knicks’ lack of scoring at the guard position. Ball’s court vision is also off the charts.
2. Cole Anthony
Cole Anthony, a dynamic guard, is #2 on my list. Whether it’s creating space for his shot or creating for his teammates, he makes the game look easy, like he’s playing one step ahead of everyone else on the court. Anthony is also a great ball-handler who can finish at the rim with either hand. Anthony would be a great fit for New York.
3. Anthony Edwards
Anthony Edwards is a physically imposing two-guard who can score from all areas of the floor. Edwards has elite talent. He is also a willing passer along with his great size.
4. Killian Hayes
Hayes is a guard that has shown the ability to make great reads on the court. He is a potential knockdown shooter, shooting the ball at a 39% clip from three-point range at the EuroCup. He is also a great free-throw shooter at 88.6%. With his ability to play-make and create his own shot, Hayes would be a great pick for the Knicks.
5. Tyrese Haliburton
Tyrese Haliburton is a guard out of Iowa. Haliburton has great court vision and is worthy of being a lead guard for the Knicks. He can get to the rim and create his own shot. Haliburton is also very good at shooting the 3 (despite his awkward form) as well as finishing at the rim.
