Wednesday afternoon, I received the opportunity to ask Giants’ RB Jonathan Hilliman a few questions.
Q: The virtual offseason program started Monday. How did it go?
A: Went well, can’t really discuss more than that.
Q: You went from going undrafted, to starting a few games for the New York Giants. What advice would you give to the players that will go undrafted in this year’s upcoming draft?
A: Always be ready for your opportunity. Regardless of what magnitude. When they say ‘next man up,’ they really mean it.
Q: After being signed by the Giants, which player(s) helped you out the most?
A: There were a lot of vets who took me under their wing and are still doing it. It would be hard to single out one guy or even a few.
Q: What led you to transfer to Rutgers from Boston College for your senior year?
A: Opportunity really. I graduated, and with the emergence of my good friend AJ (Dillon) it would be tough for me to fulfill the goals I had for myself going into my last season. There was an opportunity at RU so I took it.
