The Terps are targeting a lot of players for the class of 2021 in hopes of a massive class. In addition to part 1, these are the players I think Maryland has the best chance of getting.

Aminu Mohammed: Mohammed is a 6″4 SG/SF in the class of 2021. He is rated as a 5 star prospect and he is the 14th best player in the class of 2021. Aminu is originally from D.C and currently plays high school basketball in Springfield, Missouri. His crystal ball is 100% Louisville, but only one person has put a crystal ball in and the confidence meter for the crystal ball is a 3/10.

Aminu still has the ability to reclassify to the class of 2020 and has thought about doing so. Turgeon and his staff have conducted several calls with him and remain in heavy contact with Aminu .

James Graham: Graham is a 6’9 forward in the class of 2021. He is unranked and he goes to Nicolet high school in Wisconsin. The Terps offered him a few weeks ago and very soon after he received a crystal ball (prediction) to Maryland. James spoke to 247 Sports about Maryland and it seemed like Maryland had a great shot at him. Then, last week he told me that he will wait a while before committing, I think he did this because he knows more offers are going to come in.

Efton Reid: Reid is a 6”11 Center from Richmond, VA. He is the 3rd best center in the class of 2021. The Terps have reportedly been recruiting Efton very heavily. Maryland really wants him to reclassify to 2020 so they can have him for next year.

He talks to Coach Bino almost every day according to 247 sports. Virginia, Ohio State, Maryland, NC State and a bunch of others are recruiting him the hardest according to Reid. Reid has been on 3 visits to Maryland and he said he likes the atmosphere. Reid is a great player and I think we have a chance at him, but my prediction is that he’ll stay in state and go to Virginia.

Charles Bediako: Bediako is a 6”11 Center from Canada. He is ranked as the 4th best center in the class of 2021. Coming out of high school his build and play style is very similar to Jalen Smith’s out of high school. There has been mutual interest between Bediako and Maryland, but it currently looks like Alabama and Duke are in the lead. Bediako has said he won’t reclassify to the class of 2020.

Jalen Warley: Warley is a 6″4 Combo Guard in the class of 2021. Warley is a 4 star prospect who is ranked as the 27th overall player in the class of 2021. He plays high school basketball at the Westtown School which is the same school as Franck Kepnang, another player Maryland is actively recuirting.

Jalen plays AAU basketball for Team Durant which is based in Maryland. Warley has built a good relationship with Maryland assistant coach Matt Brady according to 247 Sports. Because he plays AAU in Maryland he has become friends with Benny Wlliams, Ike Cornish and Julian Reese  His recruitment is still very open but I would say the Terps are one of the leaders.

I will make sure to give you updates on all these players on @terps.cbb on Instagram. Also I would recommend purchasing Inside Maryland Sports on 247 Sports.
