An underdog proves doubters wrong. An underdog conquers defeat. An underdog never gives up. Jack Settleman, founder of SnapBack Sports, began his path to stardom with two things in mind: an idea and a plan. Following this plan led to numerous accomplishments along the way while Settleman was a student at University of Texas-Austin. From day one while selling phone cases Settleman built connections with well-established sports brands to eventually build his own brand. SnapBack Sports never looked back as they have become the number one sports page on Snapchat. Settleman went out and proved the doubters wrong. Jack Settleman is a true underdog story.

Settleman’s SnapBack Sports is revolutionizing the way fans follow, share, and view sports media. Here’s how:

SnapBack Sports’ Jack Settleman is Revolutionizing Sports Media

Recently announcing the biggest partnership in SnapBack Sports history, Settleman and co. teamed with Underdog Fantasy. With roughly 300 Instagram followers before the announcement, many may be unfamiliar with the start-up fantasy sports app.  On the Underdog app, fans are able to pick, create and play fantasy games as well as place wagers on their favorite teams and players all season long. With manager Alex Sheinman by his side, SnapBack specifically targeted Underdog to partner with as his entre into the fantasy sports business. Alex currently manages Settleman and the SnapBack Sports brand as well as works with  Boardroom University at Thirty Five Ventures. Co-founders of Thirty Five Ventures include Kevin Durant and Rich Kleinman.

“We always have been the Underdog and it’s part of the reason we signed with a startup sports betting company vs. other [well-established] companies”, added Sheinman.

Sheinman is also no stranger to being an underdog. Managing Boardroom, the platform a connection between entrepreneurs and executives for universities across the country. Boardroom offers seminars and interviews with the most well-respected names in the sports business industry. From discussions with World Series Champion CC Sabathia, WNBA first overall pick Sabrina Ionescu and Executive Chairman of Fanatics and owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils Michael Rubin, Boardroom provides insight on business that are hard to find anywhere else. Sheinman also co-founded Penn State’s Sports Business Conference. The student-run conference gives professionals the opportunity to interact with and inspire Penn State students to pursue a career in the sports industry.

Proving their ability to climb up the ranks from the bottom, Underdog Fantasy will team up and begin their path to the top of the fantasy sports world with SnapBack by their side. As Settleman describes his SnapBack followers the “SnapBack Fam”, his fanbase has shown tremendous amounts of support and appreciation through the recent partnership. Given the title “Head of Winning” by Underdog, Settleman will provide fans with daily picks on the fantasy sports app. Additionally, Settleman currently holds an ownership state for the Fan Controlled Football League’s Wild Aces. Fantasy games involving the team will be available exclusively on the Underdog Fantasy app.

Making an impact with their goals set high, SnapBack Sports continues to grow and expand on multiple platforms and mediums. With over one million daily viewers on Snapchat, platforms such as TikTok and Twitter have been the key factors into expanding the SnapBack brand. With nearly 50k followers on TikTok and 25k on Twitter, Settleman continues to prove himself day in and day out. The SnapBack partnership with Underdog truly defines an ‘underdog’ story for both sides.
