The NFL is dominated by youth and has new rising stars breaking out every year. These are some players are best suited to have a breakout campaign and launch themselves into elite status in 2020.

QB – Kyler Murray, ARZ

I don’t know if there is a sophomore more set up for success in 2020 than Kyler Murray. He’s got a great group of weapons as well as a great offensive minded head coach. He’s a legitimate MVP candidate and he’s only heading into his second season.

RB – Miles Sanders, PHI

Miles Sanders could very well be a top five running back a year from now. He is a do-it-all back with the skill and athleticism needed to be a top RB in today’s NFL. He has legitimate potential to join the 1,000 rushing yards – 1,000 receiving yards club.

WR – Deebo Samuel, SF

There were a lot of great rookie WRs last season but none of them impressed me as much as Samuel. He totaled just under 1,000 total yards with six TDs and was one of the best receivers in the entire league in the second half of the season. Expect Samuel to take a huge leap in year two as the new number one target.

TE – Noah Fant, DEN

Fant is already one of the scariest tight ends to defend in the NFL. His mix of size and speed isn’t something you find easily at his position. Fant is going to be a very tough player to defend next season and a big offensive threat.

DL – Brian Burns, CAR

Burns put up an impressive 7.5 sacks in 2019 despite only starting five games. He was kind of lost in the shadow of Nick Bosa and Maxx Crosby last season, but with more playing time and a new system, Burns should have a huge year and implement himself as a top pass rusher in the NFL.

LB – Devin Bush, PIT / Devin White, TB

It was way too hard for me to put one of these guys over the other as both are looking like future top ten linebackers. Bush dominated the first half of last season and White dominated the second half. Both put up 90+ tackles and were all over the field in every game.

DB – Johnathan Abram, LV

Johnathan Abram only played half of a game in 2019 but looked like a seasoned veteran in the very little time he had on the field. His aggresive play style and athleticism make him a very enticing player and he should be one of the best players on the field every time he steps on.
