Start ‘Em:
TE Noah Fant (DEN)
Fant has been fantastic so far this season when healthy. He’ll take on a bottom tier pass defense this week, which he’ll try to tear apart. Fant appears to be all the way back from injury, giving him a great matchup this week vs Atlanta.
WR Will Fuller (HOU)
Fuller didn’t get dealt at the deadline, which should benefit his fantasy owners this week. Fuller will get a solid draw vs Jacksonville this weekend, who’s secondary has looked subpar so far this season. Fuller has been electric for the Texans so far this year, and will look to continue that trend in week 9.
RB Antonio Gibson (WSH)
Gibson will take on the Giants in week 9, and while New York has a deceptively good defense, they’ve struggled a little against the run. Gibson has been a featured part of Washington’s offense, and could win his fantasy owners their games this week.
Sit ‘Em:
RB Ezekiel Elliot (DAL)
Zeke has struggled mightily since Dak Prescott’s injury, and comes into this week battling an injury. With Garett Gilbert at QB, Pittsburgh will be able to sell out for the run without hurting themselves too much, in turn shutting Zeke down. Zeke simply has too many red flags going into this week, which should keep him out of your lineup.
RB Jonathan Taylor (IND)
Taylor found himself on the back of the milk carton last week, with a dud of a performance at 5.1 points. Taylor was vastly outshined by Nyheim Hines, and Jordan Wilkins. Taylor’s task doesn’t get any easier as he faces a good Baltimore defense this week.
WR Amari Cooper (DAL)
Every Cowboys WR was hurt badly by the loss of Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper especially. Cooper found some success with Dalton, but Dinucci did no favors for Cooper. I see no reason why he should produce better results with Garett Gilbert at QB. Facing an amazing Steelers defense, who figures to give the Cowboys offense headaches all game long, Cooper should only start in desperate situations.
