The Bills still have 6 more cuts to make after releasing Ray Ray McCloud and Garrett McGhin. Here are the most likely cuts for the team.
Nick Easley: Another WR will be cut in my eyes, and Easley just seems like the best decision. Every other WR that might be cut has a possible role in the offense. For Robert Foster, look at his sky-high potential and his great closing stretch to end 2018, and Duke Williams brought out so much promise this year, playing well in the little time he got.
Nate Becker: Becker played no role in the offense last year and was stuck in the depth chart. Lee Smith is an amazing blocker for the running game while Jason Croom has sky-high potential and amazing athleticism. Becker is a logical cut.
One of the rookie strong safeties: One of them has to be cut at the end of the day, whether it’s Josh Thomas or Garrett Taylor, and The Penn State and App State alums will both have an uphill battle to make the roster. Don’t be shocked, however, if at the end of preseason one of them makes the practice squad with the 6 extra spots.
Kaare Vedvik: Vedvik is by far the worst kicker of the 3 that the Bills have. He struggled with both extra points and field goals, going 0-1 on both. Stephen Hauschka was just extended, and we didn’t draft Tyler Bass to cut him.
