Paul Chryst has been outstanding in his years with Wisconsin and looks to continue that. To keep the winning culture in Madison, Paul has put together a great 2021 class that is currently 13th in the nation. Since Memorial Day, the Badgers have added 5 impact players to the 2021 class.

Let’s take a look at each of them:

Thr Badgers got there first commit in over a month with Jack Pugh, 4 star Tight End from Ohio. According to 247, he is the number 14 TE in the class. Pugh is very physical and is willing to block and run routes making him a complete and versatile player. He has a good chance to be very productive at Madison and he should have a chance to play on Sundays.

Less then a week later the Badgers added Darryl Peterson, a 3 star DE. Although Peterson is only a 3 star, most believe he is underrated because of how hard Alabama went after him in the late recruiting stages. Saban and the Alabama staff must have seen something in him that separated him from the rest. Nevertheless, Peterson is the 34th best DE in the class. For Peterson to become elite he will have to put on more muscle to become bigger and stronger as he is currently built more like a linebacker.

Two days later the Badgers added yet another 3-star in Mike Jarvis. Jarvis is a 6-foot 5-inch 250-pound Defensive End from Medford, New Jersey. He is the 50th ranked defensive end in the nation according to 247 and is an elite rusher who can change any game if he finds a mismatch.

On June 11th the Badgers added a third defensive end in TJ Bollers. Bollers is a 4 star recruit, and his recruitment kept fans on the edge of their seats. The wait turned out to be worth it as Wisconsin ended up securing the number 8 WDE in the class according to 247. Bollers is not as long as other prospects but makes up for that by being super athletic and strong. He plays multiple positions and multiple sports. He has super good hands and is comfortable dropping back into coverage since he has good ball skills.

The latest commit was a 3 star cornerback by the name Ricardo Hallman, who is from Florida.  Hallman is very speedy and has good ball skills. His team was very successful this past season making the state playoffs with him starting at cornerback.

These five players were huge additions for Paul Chryst as he looks to secure a top class in the nation.
