Every NFL season has its fair share of exciting and influential games. This year’s schedule includes many key matchups and games that fans won’t want to miss. Here is the ultimate guide to viewing the best of what this season has to show:
10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New England Patriots, Week 4
Tom Brady’s return to Foxborough will be the ultimate test for both Brady and Patriots coach Bill Belichick to prove themselves. Whether the Patriots’ QB for this game is Cam Newton or Mac Jones, fans are in for a shootout. Can Brady come back to prove he was the reason behind New England’s success, or can Belichick’s premier coaching and management prevail?
9. Baltimore Ravens @ Chicago Bears, Week 11
By week 11, it is likely rookie QB Justin Fields is getting some starts for Chicago. Regardless, the Bears will have their hands full with the Ravens. Game planning for Raven’s QB Lamar Jackson can be hard for any defense, but the Fields vs Jackson headlines will make this game interesting.
8. Jacksonville Jaguars @ New York Jets, Week 16
#1 overall pick, QB Trevor Lawrence vs. #2 overall pick, QB Zach Wilson. Which rookie signal-caller can lead their young team to success in this exciting face-off?
7. Seattle Seahawks @ Green Bay Packers, Week 10
While Aaron Rodgers’ time in Green Bay may be coming to an end, these teams are towards the top of the NFC and have met recently in the playoffs. Many of the league’s top players will showcase their talent in this game, highlighted by QB Russell Wilson, and formerly mentioned QB Aaron Rodgers.
6. Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers, Week 12
Last year’s Divisional Round matchup between these teams resulted in a 32-18 win for the Packers. However, this year’s Rams are led by QB Matthew Stafford, and hungry for a championship. With a better offense, Los Angeles should put up a fight in Green Bay. This will be a coveted matchup that’s looked back on when playoff time comes.
5. Green Bay Packers @ Kansas City Chiefs, Week 9
Any game with Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, DaVante Adams, and Tyreek Hill is a matchup that can’t be missed. This showcase of talent should have fans attached to their seats the entire game. Despite who your favorite team is, if you like watching quality football, this game is for you.
4. Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs, Week 5
This primetime matchup is a face-off between arguably the two best AFC teams in the league. Ironically, their last meeting was in the AFC Championship last season, in which the Chiefs defeated the Bills 38-24. If these teams can maintain their success into this season, there’s a solid chance another playoff meeting between these two franchises could take place this year. Without question, this game will be one that’s looked back with great scrutiny come playoff time.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Buffalo Bills, Week 14
Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks ever playing against the Bills’ defense. This Bucs’ offense has all the superpower to put points on the board against any team in the league. However, the rising Bills’ offense will for sure put up a fight against a solid Bucs’ defense. Nonetheless, Josh Allen vs Tom Brady will be one of the best QB showcase matchups of the season.
2. Kansas City Chiefs @ Tennessee Titans, Week 7
These teams possess two of the top offenses in the NFL. This game is destined to be a shootout with playoff-caliber lineups on both sides. By recently acquiring WR Julio Jones, the Titans offense seems to have their last piece to the puzzle. On the other side, the Chiefs will be hungry after their Super Bowl disappointment last season. Expect a high-scoring affair in this one!
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Los Angeles Rams, Week 3
Last season’s Monday night outing between these two teams ended with a 27-24 Rams victory. The Rams defense can be a pain for opposing offenses to game plan for, but if anyone can do it, it’s Tom Brady. The caliber of offense that Tampa Bay possesses is on a higher level than most teams in the league. Combining Brady with WR Chris Godwin, WR Chris Evans, and TE Rob Gronkowski always makes formulating a game plan for in-game situations much tougher on opposing teams. This early-season matchup will be a must-see experience.
