5. Bryce Callahan
While Bryce Callahan has only played 10 games this year, he has been one of the most impactful players on the field this year. Callahan emerged as one of the top slot corners in the league, holding his opponents to a completion percentage of just 54.4%. Along with this, Callahan was able to rack up a pair of interceptions as well as 5 PDs. When Callahan was on the field this year, he was by far a top defender on the Broncos, and when healthy this secondary can be scary with him, Justin Simmons, Kareem Jackson, and AJ Bouye.
4. Malik Reed
Malik Reed emerged as a top Bronco defender this year, and absolutely nobody expected it. Reed led the team in sack with 8.0, and he only started 13 games. The 24 year old EDGE rusher filled in for the injured Von Miller this season. Along with this, the outside linebacker had one forced fumble on the year. The best part of Reed, was that no one expected him to do anything, and he ended up performing like one of the top defenders on this roster
3. Bradley Chubb
This one was a no brainer, as Chubb was able to come back from injury and tear up teams this season. After a promising rookie year, Chubb went down with an ACL injury the following season, but was able to bounce back this year. Chubb had 7.5 sacks with 19 quarterback hits and was always making an impact when on the field. Along with this he was selected to his first pro bowl, in what showed to be one of the best seasons of his young career.
2. Justin Simmons
Staying on the defensive side of the ball, Justin Simmons had the best season of his career. With a career high, five interceptions, Simmons was able to help the Broncos win when it mattered the most. This was a meaningful season for Simmons, as it was a contract year and he will be looking to get paid this offseason. In my opinion, the Broncos need to pay the man, as he has been a key part of this team for the past several years.
1. Garrett Bolles
After having a very rough season in 2019, Bolles was able to come back as one of the top left tackles in the league. He was able to fix his penalty issues, and managed to give up 0 sacks on the season. Bolles is one of the biggest pro bowl snubs this season, but I am sure that he does not care, since he secured a four-year, 72 million contract this year. Bolles finished the season with a PFF grade of 90.7, which is one of the highest at his position.
