In 2019 the Buffalo Bills had an unexpected season. Josh Allen came out and proved to be a leader on the offense that helped John Brown back to 1,000 yards and a career high year. While his receiving corps helped him they hurt him a lot. There drops in 2019 resulted in over 50 points lost. That was first in the entire league and affected Josh Allen the most.

For 2020, however, the Bills made a blockbuster trade for superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs from the Vikings. Through four games, Diggs leads the entire NFL in receiving yards. Josh Allen is playing like an MVP with 1,326 passing yards 12 touchdowns and just 1 interception. (The one interception was a very controversial that almost no fans agreed with.)  John Brown has become a solid 2nd WR. In three games he’s racked up 14 catches for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns. For Cole Beasley he has been amazing out of the slot with 18 catches for 260 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rookie 4th round pick Gabe Davis has also stepped up to the plate with 8 catches for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns. For Josh Allen he has been very quiet running the ball. With three amazing Wide Receivers, I understand why.

On the defensive end there wasn’t much to gain. Buffalo signed DE Mario Addison who has two sacks through four games. In 2020 the defense has been riddled with injury. Matt Milano, Tremaine Edmunds, Tre White, Josh Norman and Levi Wallace have all missed time due to injury or are playing through injury. The offense has seen Cole Beasley, John Brown, Zack Moss, Dawson Knox, Dion Dawkins, Josh Allen and more battle injury.

In 2021, Buffalo will be even better getting a preseason that will limit injuries. Hopefully next season, the pandemic will also be gone. Bills Mafia, including myself, will be extremely excited to see what this team can do in 2021.
