Jadin Johnson is a 6’ 4” Point Guard out of Millard North HS in Omaha, NE. Johnson was the leader of the offense last year taking Millard North all the way to the state championship game.

Johnson is described as a hard worker; he lays it all out on the floor with the end goal in mind of winning. He is also considered a true point guard. While not a score-first player, he has shown the ability to score when called upon to do so, he does all the little things necessary in order to help his team succeed.

Johnson is also a phenomenal defender and passer as he leads his team in both the assist and steal categories. He’s very vocal on the court, communicating on every play as he calls out all screens and makes sure he doesn’t miss a cutter.

When not in the game, he’s known to be very vocal on the sidelines. He coaches his teammates and makes sure everyone is in line.

Johnson also excels off the court, he maintains a 3.1 GPA in school. He also trains hard in the offseason, working with Adam Barnes who is a former trainer of the Houston Rockets.

He also works with the former strength coach of the University of Nebraska with goals to become bigger, faster, and stronger by adding 10 lbs of muscle between now and August.

Currently, Johnson holds offers from Montana State and Old Dominion. He has interest from schools such as Utah State, Rice, Cleveland State, Marshall, Bradley, UMBC, and Providence. He’s also taken unofficial visits in the past to Northern Iowa, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Recap: Making the case for Power 6 offers- Johnson deserves to be offered by Power 6 programs because he does all the little things right. He’s a great leader, he gets his teammates involved, he knows the ins and outs of running an offense and can easily pick up on new plays or sets.
