The Clippers will win the championship with ease if…
Paul George continues to perform the way he has in Orlando.
George is coming off a barrage of eight threes made against the Pelicans, which he achieved en route to the team breaking the franchise high of 25 made three pointers.
During the three NBA Bubble scrimmages, George shot 55% from three, to go with a field goal percentage of 60%. Albeit he achieved these percentages during meaningless games, but these numbers didn’t stop when the regular season began.
In the NBA Restart debut game, George dropped 30 points, to go along with 6/11 from beyond the arc. In his next game, George dropped 28 points, including 8 threes in a blowout win against the Pelicans.
Paul George has expressed how confident he is heading into the postseason, largely due to the full recovery of his shoulder surgeries. George responded to the media’s concern about his recovery, “I feel amazing right now. My shoulders literally like two or three weeks ago finally loosened all the way up to where I don’t really gotta do shoulder rehab no more. I was still doing shoulder rehab all the way up until about three weeks ago and this was almost a full year since I had them done… It’s just been a process, and my body just feels great right now.”
